New Hampshire Doorway

Nine Doorway locations provide single points of entry for people seeking help for substance use disorder

New Hampshire Doorway is an online portal connecting those with substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD), to a brick-and-mortar location to acess the following services available in nine state regions:

  • Screening and evaluation
  • Treatment, including medications for opioid use disorder
  • Overdose prevention, including naloxone
  • Supports and services to assist in long-term recovery
  • Peer recovery support services

Like Vermont's hub and spoke model, this official New Hampshire government website includes links to the nine doorway websites, background information about SUD, videos on stories of recovery, and a 211 number for assistance. It is funded by a Substance and Mental Health Services Agency (SAMHSA) State Opioid Response Grant.

The Doorways offer assistance with accessing every level of treatment.
