The Opioid Policy Research Collaborative (OPRC), part of the Institute for Behavioral Health (IBH) within the Schneider Institutes for Health Policy at Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management, is a vital resource on interventions and policies to address the opioid crisis.
The OPRC serves a wide range of stakeholders across academic, medical, nonprofit and government fields, including federal health officials, policymakers, researchers, and clinicians, by:
- conducting innovative research to evaluate interventions and policies that have been implemented to address the opioid crisis.
- developing ground-breaking policy initiatives through evidence-based guidance and recommendations.
- convening and collaborating with stakeholders to develop coordinated strategies for responding to this public health emergency.
- and communicating key activities and findings from cutting-edge research and policy initiatives, working closely with media outlets to reach a wider audience and increase the impact of OPRC’s work.
